Our Private IP Satellite service couples our robust two-way satellite network with our Private IP backbone to deliver satellite access services. This service is particularly useful to large corporations with mission-critical applications that need access to their Private IP network.
Private IP Satellite provides an additional means to interconnect customer locations to Private IP, allowing customers to use broadband IP connectivity at virtually any location within the satellite coverage area. Private IP Satellite service is able to reach areas where DSL may not be available, or where T1 circuits are cost-prohibitive. Additionally, customers may utilize Private IP Satellite service as a physically redundant connection, serving as a back-up to their terrestrial circuit.
All equipment (satellite dish and router) is ordered through Verizon Business and installed professionally.
Locations within the U.S. must have a clear view of the Southern sky with no obstructions. International availability varies by country within the satellite coverage area. Service is not available in all countries within the satellite coverage area. Regulatory approval and/or license required in certain countries.
