Transition to IP and stay in command of your routing. Our Private IP Layer 2 VPN supports common protocols using Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS) standards and Cisco Provider Edge (PE) devices to deliver a multi-site layer 2 VPN through pseudowire over our MPLS backbone.

All of your data is forwarded at Layer 2 which creates a private network with no Internet Protocol (IP) routing so traffic is not vulnerable to IP-related security risks and data can only reach defined endpoint destinations. You define addressing on your network. Verizon Business does not peer during routing sessions.

Affordability

Bundled port pricing allows customers to establish a Frame Relay Connection mode port for a low monthly fee, andd add multiple Layer 2 PVCs to that port at no additional cost.

Migration

Re-use your legacy Layer 2 frame relay equipment. You don't need IP-capable CPE or hardware with routing functionality.
