International Toll-free Service (ITFS) is an ideal option for those businesses interested in establishing or maintaining a global presence. With ITFS, MCI Canada customers are able to receive calls from overseas at no cost to the caller. MCI will provide you with International Toll-free Service, extending the reach of your contact centre to overseas caller requiring assistance. Since the call is no cost to the caller, overseas customers and colleagues will appreciate the convenience of contacting you when needed.

An added option to ITFS is Universal International Freephone Number (UIFN). Where ITFS provides you with one number per country, UIFN offers a single global toll-free number and is accessible from an increasing number of overseas locations. This adds value to the client with multiple offices or customers overseas that are looking for a simple and cost effective solution to bring those calls back to their Canadian offices. ITFS and UIFN assist MCI customers in establishing and managing a global presence.

MCI Canada Toll-free Call Management Features MCI Canada Toll-free assists in ensuring that you exceed your objectives in customer care. To do that, we have a variety of Toll-free Call Management Features to simplify your business operations and. Our focus is to provide you with the right tools, such as incoming call routing, redirection and contingency planning features.

  • Caller Recognition Routing: Incoming calls from specific area codes or exchanges can be routed to pre-determined locations.

  • Area Code & Exchange Restriction: Allows MCI Canada customers to establish a preferred list of area codes or exchanges, from which calls can be accepted. For greater cost efficiency, customers can bundle this feature with Area Code & Exchange Routing.

  • Call Distribution & Call Allocation Routing: Allows MCI Canada customers to manage resources between multiple call centers across Canada, by distributing calls based on pre-determined traffic volumes.
    This assists in reducing call wait times and ensures that incoming calls are handled efficiently.

  • Caller Recognition Routing (CLID Routing): Ideal for your customers that require special attention. Incoming callers can be sent to a pre-determined location, based on the caller’s Calling Line ID (CLID). The 10-digit phone number of the incoming caller is identified and then routed to a specific location that you have designated. For example, you can elect to send high-end customers to one location and route other calls to an alternate location.

  • Day of Week Routing: Allows MCI Canada customers to route incoming calls to different terminating locations, based on the Day of Week. For example, calls can be routed to one call centre from Monday to Friday and an alternate location to support weekend callers.
