Redundancy Options

MCI Canada provides "fail-over" redundancy options, ensuring even more reliable access connections.

• Diverse connection option: where possible, provisions two MCI Canada circuits to two different MCI Canada -owned high-speed hubs. If provisioning to separate hubs is not possible, MCI Canada will try to establish a diverse connection within the same hub
  
  
• Shadow connection option: provides two connections to the Internet, with one connection serving as an emergency backup if a service problem is detected with the primary MCI Canada connection.
