Account Managers, New Business Development

Department: Sales

Location: Toronto

Qualifications:
  • University degree and or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of field sales experience selling into SME and large fortune 1000 accounts

  • Proven track record in opening up new accounts and territories with a solid background in outperforming plan

  • Proven ability to sell multiple products into accounts.

  • University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven ability to sell solutions.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills.

  • Experience at selling throughout an organization (covering various departments).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, oral and presentation skills).

  • Organized and detail oriented with sound time-management skills.

  • PC/Office automation literate; experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Webex and Placeware.

  • Professional appearance and a level of 'presence' to gain acceptance with high level contacts

  • Ability to travel

Summary of General Responsibilities:
  • Developing sales opportunities within a base of prospect accounts.

  • Building a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.

  • Cross-selling multiple products in base of prospect accounts.

  • Developing and implementing sales plans and activities.

  • Providing weekly/monthly reporting to your manager.

  • Meet budgeted revenue targets through driving new business development and add on sales.

  • Communicating and interfacing with many levels of management

  • Develop and sign new target accounts from the ground up

  • Learning new technologies and keeping up to date with new products and market trends
