Qualifications:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Economics/Accounting
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Must have Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to liaise between different departments and different levels of management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks
- Must be able to build strong partnerships with external point of contacts
- Must be extremely organized and have a proactive attitude
- Driven, enthusiastic, and good-natured individual who excels in challenging and competitive environments
- Telecommunications experience a definite asset
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Aide in the calculation of the monthly Cost of Sales for assigned circuits
- Understand Telco tariffs and agreements
- Understand and prepare detailed summaries of cost reports by business segments and products
- Work with Network Administration, Circuit Provisioning and Network Engineering to ensure that all network changes are accurately tracked, captured and included in the monthly cost of sales
- Analyze the network costs billed by the Carriers to ensure that the amounts billed match with circuit inventory.
- File disputes with the carriers in cases where the amounts billed do not reconcile to network records
- Manage the carrier dispute process, providing full formal written disputes and ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved with carriers in a timely manner
- Reconcile balances, payments and disputes for each account.
